Brynn Freal is the Founder behind ABL Home Design, where beauty, functionality, and a little cheek live comfortably under one roof.

 

A Snohomish native raised between antique hunts and bespoke building sites, Brynn learned early that beauty is built, not bought. Her mom taught her the art of the treasure hunt. Her dad taught her the power of good bones. Those early years proved that sawdust and storytelling go hand-in-hand; setting the stage for her lifelong belief that every home should tell a story, preferably one with eccentric characters and excellent lighting.

 

After decades in floral design, art direction, and creative campaigns for name brands and networks in Los Angeles and Seattle, Brynn traded studio deadlines for a home studio—where she became an accomplished watercolor artist.

 

Living with progressive illness for more than 30 years gave Brynn an inside look at what “accessible” really means and what it should mean. When she couldn’t find a professional willing to rise to the task, she did what any self-respecting creative with a tool belt and an opinion would do: she built her own firm.

Together with a team every bit as witty and full of verve as she is, Brynn founded ABL Home Design on the belief that beautiful spaces should also work beautifully—for real, complex, messy, wonderful humans. Today, ABL leads the charge in making adaptive luxury the new standard, restoring comfort, independence, and emotional connection one perfectly placed brass animal at a time.​​
